  • While this course primarily focuses on achieving and maintaining a thriving status, it also delves deep into suicide. This can be a difficult topic, but by the end of this course, you'll have new perspectives and tools to help you navigate challenging and common situations.

This session lays the foundation for using safe language and challenging the stigma attached to mental health and suicide.

    Learning objectives:

    • Understand how to achieve & maintain personal wellness through self-care

    • Safely and effectively discuss mental health & suicide

    • Identify and eliminate stigma

  • Very few things compare to the pain and guilt of questioning if you could have done more to help. And despite all the conversations around mental health, many people aren't prepared to support someone in crisis.

This session will prepare you for difficult conversations. With a deeper understanding of depression and suicide, you can release the fear and uncertainty surrounding suicide and gain the confidence to provide life-saving love and support.

    Learning objectives:

    • To recognize and address common misconceptions associated with suicide

    • The three factors that increase the risk of crisis and the three factors that reduce the risk

    • How to confidently respond to someone in crisis using the SIT method

  • We can not be our best selves by ourselves. To become our best selves, we need meaningful connections with others.

We also need to nurture the physical, mental, and emotional components of all that we are so we can thrive—even in challenging times. This holistic view of health makes it possible for everyone to live a life they love.

    Learning objectives:

    • Understand how physical, mental, and emotional health are connected

    • Learn how each system impacts health

    • Understand the importance of identifying root causes

    • Learn how the unconscious, conscious, and subconscious mind impact wellness

  • Our physical health is intricately connected to our overall well-being. Yet many traditional mental health approaches fail to address this vital relationship.

In this session, we'll delve into the less-than-obvious aspects of physical health that influence how we think, feel, and behave. With this knowledge, we gain more control of our healing journey.

    Learning objectives:

    • Recognize how physical health impacts mental health

    • Overcome genetics to achieve wellness

    • Understand the connection between gut, physical, mental, and emotional health

    • Learn how TBIs impact brain health

  • Mental health is not a one-size-fits-all concept. Rather than judging someone as 'healthy' or not, we must acknowledge that each journey is unique and constantly evolving.

Embracing this dynamic spectrum of human experience is a powerful shift. It helps us better manage potential risks and long-term conditions and eliminates harmful stigmas that hold us back.

    Learning objectives:

    • Recognize elements of mental health

    • Understand the mental health spectrum

    • Identify the six types of suicide, what they have in common & how they differ

    • Approach mental health with compassion

  • Emotional health is the most overlooked and misunderstood aspect of wellness. It's not just about how we feel. It is about our sense of self and ability to relate to others and cope with life events.

Better emotional health opens the door to self-awareness. This allows us to create more meaningful connections to the people and world around us.

    Learning objectives:

    • Recognize elements of emotional health

    • Align actions w/core values to achieve & maintain wellness

    • Apply The 5 Love Languages to crises

    • Identify why self-love is critical to health
