You Can Be the One to Save a Life

From Suicidal to Thriving will give you the confidence to provide life-saving support.

Do you feel powerless or unsure how to respond to or prevent a crisis?

We all know people struggling with depression or thoughts of suicide need compassion and support—but providing it may feel daunting. As a society, we lack experience and fear saying the wrong thing.

If we're going to tackle the mental health crisis, each of us needs to be prepared for difficult conversations and situations.

  • How to combat the stigma associated with mental health & suicide

  • How to identify the three risk factors for suicide

  • To use Safe Messaging to navigate difficult conversations

In this session, you'll learn:

Very few things compare to the pain and guilt of questioning if you could have done more to help. And despite all the conversations around mental health, many people aren't prepared to support someone in crisis.

The Fundamentals of Suicide Prevention will help you prepare for difficult conversations. With a deeper understanding of depression and suicide, you can gain the confidence to provide life-saving love and support.

  • How to support others while maintaining your own wellness

In this session, you'll learn:

We can not be our best selves by ourselves. To become our best selves, we need meaningful connections with others.

We also need to nurture the physical, mental, and emotional components of all that we are so we can thrive—even in challenging times. This holistic view of health makes it possible for everyone to live a life they love.

  • The connection between gut health and physical, mental & emotional ailments

  • The lasting effects of head trauma & tools to support brain health

In this session, you'll learn:

Our physical health is intricately connected to our overall well-being. Yet many traditional mental health approaches fail to address this vital relationship.

In this session, we'll delve into the less-than-obvious aspects of physical health that influence how we think, feel, and behave. With this knowledge, we gain more control of our healing journey.

12:00 pm (CST) / 6:00 pm (BST)

  • The range & nuances of the mental health spectrum

  • The six types of suicide, what they have in common & how they differ

  • How to apply the Daily Mental Health Checklist

In this session, you'll learn:

Mental health is not a one-size-fits-all concept. Rather than judging someone as 'healthy' or not, we must acknowledge that each journey is unique and constantly evolving.

Embracing this dynamic spectrum of human experience is a powerful shift. It helps us better manage potential risks and long-term conditions and eliminates harmful stigmas that hold us back.

12:00 pm (CST) / 6:00 pm (BST)

  • Why self-love is critical to our health & how to achieve it

  • How to apply love languages to intervene in crises

  • How to align your actions with your personal values to achieve & maintain wellness

In this session, you'll learn:

Emotional health is the most overlooked and misunderstood aspect of wellness. It's not just about how we feel. It is about our sense of self and ability to relate to others and cope with life events.

Better emotional health opens the door to self-awareness. This allows us to create more meaningful connections to the people and world around us.
