Do you feel powerless or unsure how to respond to or prevent a crisis?
We all know people struggling with depression or thoughts of suicide need compassion and support—but providing it may feel daunting. As a society, we lack experience and fear saying the wrong thing.
If we're going to tackle the mental health crisis, each of us needs to be prepared for difficult conversations and situations.

-
How to combat the stigma associated with mental health & suicide
-
How to identify the three risk factors for suicide
-
To use Safe Messaging to navigate difficult conversations
In this session, you'll learn:
Very few things compare to the pain and guilt of questioning if you could have done more to help. And despite all the conversations around mental health, many people aren't prepared to support someone in crisis.
The Fundamentals of Suicide Prevention will help you prepare for difficult conversations. With a deeper understanding of depression and suicide, you can gain the confidence to provide life-saving love and support.
